Press accreditation conditions

THE PRESS ACCREDITATION IS RESERVED FOR MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES AND/OR SPECIALLY APPOINTED JOURNALISTS; IT GRANTS FULL ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL AT ALL TIMES.

You will receive your printable pdf accreditation by mail.
It grants access to the ‘Professional Day’ on the Wednesday as well as for the 4 days of the Festival.

It can be folded in 4 and slipped into a clear plastic holder with a neck strap, available for collection at the Presse / Hôtel de Ville reception area (Place de l’Hôtel de Ville - 16000 Angoulême) upon presentation of the printed pdf document from Wednesday 29 January 2025 at 9 am.
Accreditation also grants:

- priority access to the commercial areas
- access to the Rights Market
- access to the Festival’s exhibitions, meetings (except Masterclasses), and the Press Room

‘Professional Day’ Meetings on Wednesday 29 January 2025 :

> The Global Rights Market (MID) is dedicated to the transfer of rights, with exhibitor stands, a program of conferences and networking events, as well as a bar area.
> Shoot the Book! Angoulême: in partnership with SCELF, 10 books selected by a jury of audiovisual professionals will be pitched on the MID stage before an audience of producers. The pitching session will be followed by one-to-one meetings between producers and publishers.
> Preview of the exhibitions
> Festival’s opening night, announcement of the Grand Prize winner

A specific ticketing system is implemented for the Masterclasses, who are not free for accredited professionals.

Accreditation grants access to every Festival venue open to the public and trade professionals during the 4 days of the event, from Thursday 30 to Sunday 2nd February 2025 from 10am to 7pm (until 8pm on Saturday 1st February for the Publishers’ Areas, and until 6pm on Sunday 2nd February): Publishers’ Areas (Monde des bulles, Nouveau Monde, Place du 9e Art, Manga City, Global Rights Market, exhibitions, meetings, Pavillon Jeunes Talents©, Press Room, etc.).

Journalists who do not hold a press card must present a letter with their media organisation’s letterhead, signed by their editor-in-chief and accrediting them to cover the Angoulême International Comics Festival.

Requests failing to provide valid supporting documents will not be processed.

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we wish to reaffirm our transparency values and responsible use of your data.

In accordance with the usual procedure applied by 9eArt+/Angoulême International Comics Festival (FIBD), we kindly ask you to confirm your accreditation for the next edition of the Festival due to be held from Thursday 30 to Sunday 2nd February 2025.

After logging in, when creating a badge, a checkbox is available.

If you want the last name, first name, company of the person concerned by the badge to be part of the list of journalists listed with the Festival, please tick the box "Transmission of information".

You can modify your choice at any time on the interface of your created badges.

Any request without proof cannot be processed.
