Professionals accreditation terms

The Professionals accreditation is reserved for comics professionals (publishers, licensing professionals, booksellers, librarians, agents, comics festival organisers, etc.), as well as for audiovisual and video game professionals.

You will receive your printable pdf accreditation by email.
It grants access to the ‘Professional Day’ on the Wednesday as well as for the 4 days of the Festival.

It can be folded in 4 and slipped into a clear plastic holder with a neck strap, available for collection upon presentation of the printed pdf document at the ‘professionals’ or ‘commercial’ reception areas from Wednesday 29 January 2025 at 9 am.
Accreditation also grants:

- priority access to the commercial areas
- access to the Rights Market
- access to the Festival’s exhibitions, meetings (except masterclasses), and the Press Room

You can also access the Rights Market digital platform with your professional accreditation, to book appointments with global rights sellers or to preview their sales catalogues. A separate email will be sent to you to create your account.

‘Professional Day’ Meetings on Wednesday 29 January 2025 :

> The Global Rights Market (MID) is dedicated to the transfer of rights, with exhibitor stands, a program of conferences and networking events, as well as a bar area.
> Shoot the Book! Angoulême: in partnership with SCELF, 10 books selected by a jury of audiovisual professionals will be pitched on the MID stage before an audience of producers. The pitching session will be followed by one-to-one meetings between producers and publishers.
> Preview of the exhibitions
> Festival’s opening night, announcement of the Grand Prize winner

A specific ticketing system is implemented for the Masterclasses, who are not free for accredited professionals.

Accreditation grants access to every Festival venue open to the public and trade professionals during the 4 days of the event, from Thursday 30 to Sunday 2^nd February 2025 from 10am to 7pm (until 8pm on Saturday 1^st February for the Publishers’ Areas, and until 6pm on Sunday 2^nd February): Publishers’ Areas (Monde des bulles, Nouveau Monde, Place du 9e Art, Manga City, Global Rights Market, exhibitions, meetings, Pavillon Jeunes Talents©, Press Room, etc.).

Requests failing to provide valid supporting documents will not be processed.
